The Horae (or Horai) were goddesses of the seasons and time portions. They presided over the constellation movements that allowed the Greeks to measure the year. The Horae guarded Mount Olympus and also rallied the stars and constellations. They were Thallo the bringer of blossoms, Auxo the increaser of plants, and Karpo (or Carpo) the bringer of food.
