Salamis

Salamis was one of the daughters of Metope and Asopos. Salamis was taken by Poseidon to an island where he seduced her. Poseidon named the island Salamis after her. Salamis became the naiad nymph of spring, well and fountain of the town Salamis on the island of the same name (both of which were named after her). Salamis would bare Poseidon a son Kykhreus.
