Sagittarius is a constellation and Zodiac sign. It is the tenth sign. Sagittarius was one of the fire Zodiac symbols.
Mythology[]
One explanation for it is the immortal Chiron's death; although it seems to be a bit contradictory. One story claims that while Heracles was visiting, he accidently dropped one of his Hydra blood arrows on his hoof, and died a while later. He was put in the sky as a centaur holding his bow.
