Nomios along with Agreus and Phorbas were a trio of Panes--goat-legged rustic-gods. were a trio of Panes--goat-legged daimones (spirits) of the mountain wilds.
Nomios ("of the Pastures"), Agreus ("the Hunter") and Phorbas ("of the Grazing" or "the Frightener") were possibly aspects of the god Pan. Nomios, the son of Hermes and Penelope. The first two names were also titles of the rustic god Aristaios in northern Greece.
