Harmonia is the Greek goddess of harmony, peace, and concord. Her opposite is considered Eris, goddess of discord. She is linked with the Roman goddess Concordia and the Discordian goddess Aneris.
Birth[]
By most accounts she is the daughter of Aphrodite and Ares, but some people put her as the daughter of Zeus and Elektra, making her a sister of Iasion.
Marriage and Children[]
In almost all myths she is the wife of the Thebian King Kadmos, were she bore him many children. Her decedents would become the kings and leaders of Thebes for centuries to come.
These children included Ino, Agaue, Autonoe, Polydoros, Semele, and by some accounts Illyrius.
Descendants of Kadmus and Harmonia had bad ends.
