A Greek group enjoying peace
The Golden Age was the period of time during which the world was controlled by Cronus after the war of the titans with their father Ouranos. Cronos had named it such, since relative peace enveloped the world, and mankind was happy. In reality, mankind was ignorant, and subject to the Titans' wills, and Cronos had absolute control over the Earth. This age ended with the start of the Great War between Titans and Gods.
