Chiron

Chiron is a centaur and the son of the Titan Kronos and the Okeanid Philyra. Apollo is his foster father, and taught him about medicine, herbs, music, archery, hunting, gymnastics, and prophecy. He also helped him to rise above his beastly nature as a centaur. He lived on Mount Pelion and married the nymph Chariclo. Together, they had Hippe, Endeis, Ocyrhoe, and Carystus. Chiron was expelled from his home along with the other centaurs by the Lapithae.
