Agreus ("the Hunter") was of a trio of Panes (the other being Nomios and Phorbas) who were goat-legged daimones (spirits) of the mountain wilds.

Agreus and the other mentione Panes had aspects of the god Pan. Pan Nomios, the son of Hermes and Penelope, was the god's most familiar form. The first two names were also titles of the rustic god Aristaios in northern Greece.
